Alain Duhamel Fils – Benjamin Duhamel est né en 1995 du journaliste Patrice Duhamel et de la directrice de la télévision française Nathalie Saint-Cricq. Sa mère est Nathalie Saint-Cricq et son père est Patrice Duhamel. Lorsqu’il était enfant, il vivait dans une famille nombreuse avec quatre frères.
Benjamin poursuit une éducation bilingue jusqu’en 2009. Il s’inscrit également à Sciences Po Paris cette année-là. La présidence de Sciences Po TV a été assurée par Benjamin Duhamel de 2015 à 2016.
